In search for the perfect Italian...

FOOD! of course..

Ed and i eat out heaaaaaaaaaappsss!! Probably more than we can afford *tisk tisk*. However luckily when it comes to food we don't have expensive taste but we're still willing to pay over $35 per dish, if the meal justifies the price (that hasnt happened yet).

Anyways one of our fave cuisine of choice is Italian. Infact i think i eat italian at least once a week - i love it that much, so it wasnt a huge surprise when i began hunting for the perfect italian restaurant. So begins my days as a food critic, which to be perfectly honest was also inspired by another blog i read Sharon - food for thought (check it out! the girls hilarious, with a real natural flair for writing)

Restaurant - Il Ciao
Location - Applecross
Price - $15 - $25 for average meal

Entree - Bruschetta
Main - Spaghetti & Meatballs & Woodfire Pizza (cant remember the name but it had eggplant, mushroom, capsicum & artichokes)
Desert - We passed on desert and went to have coffee at Dome up the street.

The restaurant is pretty much the typical Italian restaurant, ambience geared towards families, with tables crammed in without much thought for ergonomics and very bad acoustics however i was expecting this so i wasnt that fussed and fortunately the waitress gave us a table in the corner, so Ed and i were still able to talk to eachother without having to result to yelling. We were served withint 10 mins and our food came very fast, tho we did get there at 6.30 coz it gets pretty PACKED! I was pleased with the food but it didnt satify the snobby pallette of my hautie - tautie bf hehe

Overall i give it 7/10 and ed gives it 6/10.
*WARNING* they dont accept bookings under 4 ppl soooo get there early!

The last time i ordered bruschetta it came with way more tomatoes but the bread is never dissapointing.

More care could of been put into placement. The chief pretty much just threw all the topping in the center.

The best of the lot, tho alil overboard with the sauce which was nothing without the meatballs.

Cam whoring at Dome. Woah - check out Eds blue steel haha
